Maude's Tarzan yell

"Everyone has the right to make as ass out of themselves. You can't let the world judge you too much."

This is a brief scene with Maude and Harold sitting under a tree in a grassy field, relaxing after the Uncle Victor ruse. Feeling good, Harold does a cartwheel, and invites Maude to do the same. She says that she feels like yodeling, instead. She yells, and as she does the audio morphs into a huge, echoing Tarzan bellow.

This scene was shot on the northern side of Sand Hill Road, about 1 mile west of I-280. I'd read that the big tree was no longer there, so there was little to go by to identify the exact spot.

Could this stump be the remains of the Harold and Maude tree?

Fun fact: This spot is about a hundred yards from the western end of the Stanford University Linear Accelerator, where quarks were first observed about 3 years before the movie's filming.
