Appendix A: Unvisited Scenes

The psychiatrist's office ("Were they all done for your mother's benefit?" "No. I would not say ... benefit.") -- There's not much to go by on these interior scenes.

The junkyard where Harold buys his initial hearse (the full-size one, not the mini-one he later fashions out of the sports car from his mother)

The car wash he goes through right after buying the hearse

The cemetery where Harold first spots Maude (before the first time they speak at the church); she's eating an apple -- Perhaps this was also filmed at Holy Cross in Colma.

Uncle Victor's office ("Harold, I think I can see a little Nathan Hale in you.") -- Although there are windows, there's nothing much that can be made out through the windows.

The building demolition that Harold and Maude go to watch -- At least I don't need to do any reasearch to know that this building isn't around any more...

The metal scrapyard where they go for fun right after the building demoltion -- This was reportedly near the San Carlos Airport, and is no longer in existence.

The greenhouses -- One site theorizes that these are the greenhouses that used to be across Sneath Lane from the Golden Gate Cemetery.

The field of daisies, where Harold says that they all look alike, and Maude corrects him

The woods where they replant the tree from downtown Redwood City

Plus, of course, any number of quick shots during various driving scenes
