The cemetery where Maude steals Harold's hearse

"For aesthetic apprection -- always a little time."

There are three scenes at this cemetery. The first is the funeral itself, with Maude hissing to get Harold's attention. The second are the attendees walking away from the gravesite in a drizzle, with Maude sporting a bright cheery yellow umbrella. The final scene is in front of the cemetery's main building, where Maude drives up in Harold's hearse and the priest asks Maude, "Were you not the lady who drove my car off yesterday?"

This cemetery is Holy Cross Cemetery in Colma. We weren't able to locate the exact spot of the first two scenes. I hope to do further explorations in this cemetery to try to find the spots. But the third scene was easy to locate, thanks to the large building in the background. Here are Harold (the one with no umbrella) and the priest (right behind him) in 1971, and Terry in 2013:

A great thing about cemeteries is that they don't change much. Other than the appearance of the large evergreen tree in the 2013 photo, little has changed. You can identify specific graves and monuments.

Fun fact: Remember when Maude hisses in the middle of the funeral to get Harold's attention, and then ducks behind a man after everyone looks at her? That man is Cat Stevens.
